MERIDIES Review

A splendid collection of music pieces from Sardinia, played by a great (apparently self-taught) guitarist and accompanied by a variety of traditional Sardinian instruments. Truly a gem. If you are looking for somebeautiful Italian folk music from the "mezzogiorno" (the South of Italy), ARC Music is a great label who offers some truly marvelous CDs. See, for instance, "Music of Sicily" and "The legend of the Italian Tarantella".
